Adam M. Lutz

Managing Principal of Q10 | Lutz Financial Services | CEO of Lutz Real Estate Investments

Adam M. Lutz serves as the Managing Principal of Q10 | Lutz Financial Services (Q10Lutz.com) as well as the CEO of Lutz Real Estate Investments (lutzinvestments.com). His national commercial real estate organization provides mortgage banking advisory services for third party clients on their debt and equity requirements and also acquires, develops, and operates real estate assets for its own account, typically outside of Michigan.

Headquartered in the Metro-Detroit area for over 50 years, Q10|Lutz began as a local firm, however, through its partnership with Q10 Capital LLC, it has a nationwide presence. Since 2010, Q10|Lutz has closed $4.5 billion in loans representing 670 properties in 31 different states consisting of apartments, office, medical office, retail, industrial, self-storage, hotel, and student housing.
Recently, the bulk of Q10|Lutz’s loans have been originated through its life insurance correspondent relationships, but have also included Fannie/Freddie/HUD, Debt Funds, wall street firms, national/local banks, and credit unions. If loans are funded through a Q10|Lutz correspondent relationship then Q10|Lutz oversees the transactions through the entire loan term for its clients, as Q10’s nationwide servicing platform exceeds $11 billion.

Prior to establishing the foregoing companies, Mr. Lutz spent several years in the commercial real estate finance industry in NYC as a Vice President with Deutsche Bank and an Analyst with Nomura Securities.
Mr. Lutz has a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and was a founding board member of the Michigan Chapter of NAIOP. Mr. Lutz holds a real estate broker’s license with the State of Michigan.
